Principal

Mrs. Jessica Webb, Principal
Welcome to Foley High School, a place where academic excellence, innovation, and character development come together to empower future leaders in our community. It is my great honor to serve as principal of this remarkable school with a rich history and traditions dating back to 1911. With over 23 years in education, I remain passionate about creating a school environment where every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and inspired. My background includes experience as a classroom teacher, head coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and now principal of Foley High School since 2022. I feel all of these roles and experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective on student learning, staff collaboration, and positive school culture. I believe that education should not only equip students with academic knowledge, but also prepare them to be thoughtful, responsible, and engaged citizens. We want every student at Foley High School involved! We desire for our students to take advantage of the many opportunities we offer academically and extracurricular, and to have a great high school experience! It is a great time to be a Foley Lion! We are blessed to live in a community where we have wonderful support from both Baldwin County Board of Education and the City of Foley. I am proud to lead such a diverse, dynamic and dedicated school community where our passionate, talented and skilled staff work together to empower our students to reach their full potential. I thank you for your support and I look forward to working together for a successful school year. Go Lions!!!

I have been in education since 1998 and have proudly served at Foley High School since 2005. In 2020, I stepped into my current role as assistant principal. My family and I love being part of the Foley community — a place we not only work in but also call home. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching students grow and transform into confident young adults. I began my role as assistant principal in 2022 and am a former English teacher with 17 years of classroom experience. I am passionate about student learning and dedicated to supporting teachers through collaboration, growth, and shared leadership. Outside of school, my husband and I love living on the water in Baldwin County and are proud parents of two beautiful daughters.

Sharell Edmond, Assistant Principal over 10th grade
I began my journey in education in 2015, pushed by a passion for inspiring students and fostering creativity. I graduated from Auburn University with dual bachelor's degrees in both Spanish and Theatre. This gave me a unique skill set to engage and teach both content areas with Mobile County Public School System. In 2024, I transitioned into administration after earning a M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership from Alabama A&M University. This role allows me to impact even more students and invest in the growth of the dedicated staff and vibrant community in Foley!
Nathan Powell, Assistant Principal over 9th grade
I began my career in 2005. Over the years, I have taught career prep, health, and physical education. I was an assistant football coach and teacher at Foley High School from 2015-2017. I then served as an assistant football coach at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, KS. Most recently I worked at Daphne High School. I enjoy working in education because of the opportunity it provides to have a positive impact on students. When I am not working, I enjoy hanging out with my wife, Kimberley, and son Landon. I am excited and grateful to be back at Foley High in this new role.
