I am originally from Mississippi and have been living in Foley for the past ten years. I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.A. in English Education. I then received a M. Ed. from William Carey College. I recently received a certification in Administration from The University of South Alabama.

While living in Mississippi, I taught English (7th-12th) at The Pine Belt Education Service Center (Jones Co. Alternative School) for 2 1/2 years. I taught eighth grade literature at Elberta Middle for the past ten years, and I also coached cheerleading for eight years. This is my first year at Foley High School and I am extremely excited about teaching 9th grade English here. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family (they still live in MS), friends, and my dog, Tobie. I work for Dolphin Cruises during the summer and enjoy going to the beach.

I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love and to live in such a wonderful area.
