In Mimi Goecke's Family and Consumer Science class at Foley High School, students completed a hand-embroidery pillow project. Some students hand appliquéd designs to their pillows as well. This class also helped raise money for the Sophomore Alabama High School Graduation Exam incentive fieldtrip by baking cupcakes. In Food and Nutrition class, to complete her personal demonstration Alisa Burr had the special help of her mother, Ms. Burr, to complete Spaghetti and Meat Sauce.
