Foley High School's PTSO honored twenty seniors recently at its general meeting.  Students, who were nominated by their teachers, were recognized for their good character, leadership ability, and service to others.  President Berkleigh Cirilli presented each student with a certificate from the PTSO along with a $100 gift from Mrs. Mary Scott Smith of Lillian, Alabama.  Mrs. Smith gave the gifts in memory of her late husband, Berkeley H. Smith, a retired banker and civic leader.  Mrs. Smith relayed to the students that the qualities for which they were recognized were valued by her husband and he would encourage them to continue to strive for excellence.
